Haven’t see him around in a while. Apparently, AOL cancelled the world wide release of this video because it had already leaked on the tubes. Yea, I’m sure having all this free promotion is really hurting them…Anyway, check this out.

If Apple wants to keep its elitist attitude about their computers they better start updating their notebooks, considering every other manufacturer has updated to Core 2 Duo. Anyway, I only bring this up to put the following comment from an apple insider user in context.
Mac: Hello, I’m a Mac
PC: And I’m a Pc. I feel good today, like some kind of speed increase.
Mac: Well, I feel like that everyday since apple is always has the latest technology in all of its product lines.PC: I just made this cool new app for vista in visual studio 2005. I’ll just email it to you.
Mac: OK I’ll just open vista in parallels and run it. What’s this? How come my computer won’t recognize it?
PC: You didn’t get the refresh?
Mac: What refresh? I have a dual core processor.Pc: OH theres this new processor called core 2 duo which is 64-bit. You can create and run 64-bit apps which must be why you couldn’t open the new 64-bit app that i sent you.
Mac: Well I have to go to sleep, my computers running a little hot right now.
Pc: Well core 2 duo is better with things like that.Mac:zzzzz
PC: Well looks like i beat you at your own game. Must’ve been one of those Macbook Pros.

That is was the difference in winning percentages between the two winningest college football programs before today. Now that margin has skyrocketed to a massive .0033. Of course I think the final score of 47-21 is a better representation of how well we played today. Oh, while we were watching the game at ND’s alum bar (champps downtown) there was a surprise guest appearance by Keyshawn Johnson. Good times.
Hail! to the victors valiant
Hail! to the conqu’ring heroes
Hail! Hail! to Michigan

Hail! to the victors valiant

Hail! Hail! to Michigan,

As some of you know I subscribe to Yahoo! Music so that for five dollars a month I can listen to pretty much every song ever made. Also, John Mayer’s new album just came out so I thought I’d give it a listen. It’s pretty much awesome. It definitely is a change from his earlier work.
It has much more of a blues feeling and has a distinct sound that can be called his own. It also is poignantly political in some songs and simply reflective in others. Anyway, just go buy it. You can get if for less than 10 dollars at Target. For a more thorough review, just check out all music.
Waiting On The World To Change
me and all my friends
we’re all misunderstood
they say we stand for nothing and
there’s no way we ever could
now we see everything that’s going wrong
with the world and those who lead it
we just feel like we don’t have the means
to rise above and beat it
so we keep waiting
waiting on the world to change
we keep on waiting
waiting on the world to change
it’s hard to beat the system
when we’re standing at a distance
so we keep waiting
waiting on the world to change
now if we had the power
to bring our neighbors home from war
they would have never missed a Christmas
no more ribbons on their door
and when you trust your television
what you get is what you got
cause when they own the information, oh
they can bend it all they want
that’s why we’re waiting
waiting on the world to change
we keep on waiting
waiting on the world to change
it’s not that we don’t care,
we just know that the fight ain’t fair
so we keep on waiting
waiting on the world to change
and we’re still waiting
waiting on the world to change
we keep on waiting waiting on the world to change
one day our generation
is gonna rule the population
so we keep on waiting
waiting on the world to change
we keep on waiting
waiting on the world to change

Fans of the show LOST will love this clip. ABC has done a great job with this show because they have taken it so far beyond the realm of just a TV show. They are planting clues all over the internet and world as a game that link directly to the show. For the past month and a half, they have been releasing short clips about the DHARMA initiative. This guy put together the 70 clips on Youtube. If you want a massive image explaining the show you can check it out here and if you want a wikipedia like site about it check this out

Yet again, a federal judge has refused to throw out a case about the, allegedly, illegal NSA wiretapping program. The litigation has been allowed to move forward for the time being.
Mr. Bush has seen quite a few setbacks recently. In case you missed it, the Senate Intelligence Committee has released their report on Iraq. They seem to think that Al Qaeda had nothing to do with 9/11. In case you forgot, “they” are the Senate that is controlled by the Republicans. Recently, Bush admitted for the first time that Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. Sure, why would you need to say that now when the propaganda has already had its intended effect. 43% of Americans answered yes to the question “Do you think Saddam Hussein was personally involved in the September 11th terrorist attacks, or not?”
Let us recap. Bush has given a string of speeches talking about 9/11 and Iraq repeatedly, yet they had nothing to do with each other. The war in Iraq has now become the center on the war on terrorism, but Iraq nothing to do with the terrorism we are fighting against (e.g. the ones attacking us). It’s like trying to make sense of a five year old’s logic. Unfortunately, it is all too true.
Just one last thing in case you want to make the argument that Bush never has linked the two together or tried to mislead (read: fear) the American public into making the connection. Here is just one quote from his September 2003 speech about Iraq.
For America, there will be no going back to the era before 11 September 2001, to false comfort in a dangerous world. We have learned that terrorist attacks are not caused by the use of strength.
They are invited by the perception of weakness. And the surest way to avoid attacks on our own people is to engage the enemy where he lives and plans.
We are fighting that enemy in Iraq and Afghanistan today so that we do not meet him again on our own streets, in our own cities.
There is of course only one problem with this statement, Iraq and Al Qaeda were not friends in the slightest.
Saddam only expressed negative sentiments about bin Laden,†the former Iraqi foreign minister, Tariq Aziz, told the Federal Bureau of Investigation when he was asked about Osama bin Laden, Al Qaeda’s leader.
As for the cliché that “the enemy of my enemy is my friend,†Saddam Hussein has told interrogators since his capture in December 2003 that his government had not cooperated with Mr. bin Laden. “He specified that if he wanted to cooperate with the enemies of the U.S., he would have allied with North Korea or China,†says a passage in the nearly 400-page report.
For more fun Bush quotes “not saying” Iraq and 9/11 were linked, see this BBC article that chronicles quite a few.

So I was watching some of the US Open coverage on how Agassi just lost and is done with tennis when I saw this ad below. It amused me to say the least. Sharapova is so much better than Kournikova in everyway, and this ad shows why. By the way, if you want to read a good post about Agassi though, here is the NY Times coverage of the match as it was happening.
Man, does Nike know how to advertise or what?
